Why the name?

I have had lifegiving moments of mystic encounter since early childhood, and yet, I spent much of my life struggling for connection with Divine and worrying about breaking that relationship. Spirit is a universal Presence to which I have learned to be present, as described by Richard Rohr in "The Naked Now." All of my spiritual care work is centered on being present to Presence -the good, the light, the Divine- within, between, and around us. But Presence is embodied...it needs community. We were meant for flourishing. We can only truly flourish together. So, we create a counter-society to resist the society of scarcity, fear, hate, and misery. We co-create a society of flourishing.
